You can use Leapfrog’s information to compare hospitals and find the one that will provide the best care for you.

In 2008, Lehigh Valley Hospital is one of only 33 hospitals in the country—and the only one in Eastern Pennsylvania—to be named a Leapfrog Top Hospital. Leapfrog gives Lehigh Valley Hospital the highest possible rating in many important quality and safety practices because we fully implemented:

• The use of computers to order medications, tests and procedures
• The staffing of intensive care units with physicians, nurses and caregivers who have special education in critical care
• At least 27 procedures to prevent medical mistakes.
